Yesterday, we spent our computer time writing on our classes new blog.  We published our holiday recounts. We are learning to edit our own work before publishing, and we are learning some new typing skills as we go.  You can read them below...

In the holidays I went to Bill Brown Park. We went past two horses or ponys. I went with my mum called Kelli and my dad called Taepa and with Ata Roni Kahu and Teariki. We went there on Sunday. I played frisbee.

In the holidays I got my hair dyed. I got it dyed by my dads mate. I thought it looked cool. First it was red and purple. The purple was on the side. The red was across my fringe.

In the holidays I was playing Halo3 with Mana. It was fun playing with Mana. We got up to the last stage. It was very hard.

In the holidays it was Riddik's birthday on the 11 of April. His presents that he got from his mum are so cool. He got a scooter clothes cards and McDonalds and his toy is ultimate humungousare. On his cake he had lollies that were shaped like a donut. That had jelly and ice-cream.

In the holidays I went to a farm and I stayed there for three days. I started the first day of the holidays. I went with my cousins and aunty. Niketa and Rehare are my cozins and my aunty is Ari.

In the holidays I went to Wave Rave at the Lido. There were beautiful coloured lights. I also saw Waneta and Waimaria there. I was wearing my purple and blue togs. In the morning I packed my bags to go to my dads house. That day Ngarimu played touch, Dad played league and Kathy played rugby. Later on that night we had some Golden Takeaways then we watched league and had a rest.

In the holiday I went to Woodville and dropped my cousin Tamanui off beacuse he goes home on Sunday. He came on Friday and we played games like hide-and-go-seek and  tag because we are good at tag and hide-and-go-seek.  My cousin is good at games. After we went to McDonalds.

In the holidays I went to Pork Chop Hill . I went with my Mum, Dad and my brothers. We went to the top. I could see the FMG building and the Manawatu river. Then we went to the shop to get a slushy then we went back home and played outside.

Well today was our first day back at school for Term 2. We wrote some holiday recounts for writing and tomorrow we are going to edit and publish them. Some of them will be posted on our blog. For maths this week, we are doing Geometry and learning about 2D and 3D shapes. After lunch we did some art and began making 'magazine trees' to go with our kaupapa.  Here are some photos of us hard at work and the beginning of our beautiful art creations.
