Yesterday (27 November), Room 14 and 13 went to Nga Manu in Waikanae. We hopped on the bus first thing in the
morning and headed on down. While we
were at Nga Manu, we were able to touch a real tuatara, feed the massive eels,
and also see 2 live kiwis. The rangers
at Nga Manu told us that we knew so much about kiwi’s and tuatara’s, which made
us feel pretty smart! After a picnic
lunch and a good wander around the park, we jumped back on the bus and headed
back to school. We had such a fantastic day.
